
With
over 23,000 members, the American College of Osteopathic Family
Physicians is one of the largest professional associations
for family physicians. The Association caters to the full lifecycle
of the family physician by delivering programs and services.
The Warren McKenna Design Group helped the ACOFP take their mission
to the next level by retooling its brand image, packaging, and
promotions. Their goal was to move the ACOFP forward and become
a more desirable destination for members.
In spite of its activities in government affairs, continuing
medical education and networking events (a model that rendered
the ACOFP the largest college affiliated with the American Osteopathic
Association for 55 years), most professional members viewed the
ACOFP as disconnected with today’s membership needs. The
ACOFP needed to shift its brand identity to be more dynamic and
cutting edge. To help members understand ACOFP’s powerful
role in family medicine, medical training, and information as
well as practice building services, W/M Design Group led this
professional association through a brand assessment, tagline
overhaul, and audit of its marketing communication touchpoints.
With W/M Design Group’s continued support, the ACOFP is
recalibrating its member relationships and brand image to stay
connected in the medical marketplace.
