IPC MIDWEST: GET INTERCONNECTED®
Celebrating its 50th anniversary, IPC – Association Connecting Electronics Industries provides global standards, education and training, networking, and cost-effective conferences and tradeshows to the electronics manufacturing and assembly industry. IPC responded to member demand by introducing the IPC Midwest Conference & Exhibition. Faced with established competition, low awareness, and uncertainty—the decision to move forward required a market-smart approach and keen brand development.

IPC tasked WM Design Group with strategy and identity development for the event. The result was the formulation of the show’s “Big Idea” and value proposition, which emphasize IPC’s position as a global leader and generator of industry performance. Following the strategic positioning, a conference identity system was developed, including logo mark, colors, type, and tagline. A system of attendee-driven advertisements was designed for industry trade publications, increasing awareness and event registration. The result is a compelling conference identity and campaign, which demonstrate IPC Midwest as the portal of a global village and success in the marketplace.
