The City of Zion has developed a unique pre-development
concept, which we call “Your Own City Hall Meeting.”
By requesting “Your Own City Hall Meeting,” a
developer, site selector or entrepreneur can meet simultaneously
with all the Zion officials involved in the development and
building process. We do this to show our eagerness to forge
partnerships with new businesses in town, to make the process
easy, and most importantly, to cut your costs. We hope that
by using Zion's “Your Own City Hall Meeting,”
you will be able to break ground on your project months sooner
than you expected.
City departments represented at a typical “Your Own
City Hall Meeting” include: Engineering & Infrastructure,
Building, Zoning and Planning, Economic Development, Fire
Department, as well as our legal staff. If requested we can
also invite the Mayor or specific city commissioner.
