The Massachusetts Coalition for a Healthy Future is concentrating its efforts
on:
The tobacco excise tax to further reduce the demand of tobacco products
and fund public health initiatives;
MSA funds to support tobacco control and public health initiatives;
Innovative local and statewide policies to reduce ETS exposure in
the workplace and other public places; and
Changes in Medicaid, private and state employee health insurance
to cover tobacco dependence treatment as part of routine coverage.
